Naturopathy
Naturopathic Medicine is a distinct system of primary care that addresses the root cause of illness or disease and promotes health and healing by integrating modern scientific knowledge with traditional and natural forms of medicine.
Naturopathic Doctors view health as an experience of wellbeing resulting from a dynamic balance of the physical, psychological, emotional, and spiritual bodies. On the other hand, disease or illness can arise from a dysfunction or disruption in any of the above processes.
Acupuncture
Acupuncture is a holistic approach to health based on over 2,000 years of development and refinement in the Far East. The tradition is as much about the maintenance of health as the management of disease, although patients seek treatment with a wide range of illnesses. By inserting fine needles into the channels of energy, an acupuncturist aims to stimulate the body’s own healing response and help to restore its natural balance. Most patients find the treatments relaxing.
Registered Massage Therapy
Massage is generally a very enjoyable experience and is a real treat for your body. Each person however has a different tolerance for pain – some prefer a softer touch, others a deeper treatment. Please let your therapist know your preference at any time during your session. Benefits of massage therapy include relaxation, stress reduction, and reduced muscle tension.
Counselling
Individual and Relationship Therapy is client-centered and focused on the journey toward healing, growth and fulfillment through connecting with self and others in a meaningful way.
Energy Sessions
Emotional freedom technique (Cyra), chakra balancing (Thera), drumming (Thera), integrative reiki (Aristaea)
Homeopathy
Homoeopathy is a system of natural healing that was developed and established in the eighteenth century by a German physician named Samuel Hahnemann. The medicine is based on the principle ‘like cures like’. In homoeopathy, symptoms of ill health are recognized as expressions of disharmony within the person and that every person expresses and experiences imbalances in different ways. Thus, homeopathy seeks to discover the uniqueness that is each individual and prescribes a remedy based on that.
Live Blood Analysis
The test involves taking a small blood sample from the fingertip using a sterile lancet. The blood is then placed on a microscope slide, covered with a protective cover, and immediately examined under a microscope. Darkfield microscopy provides a nearly three-dimensional view of the blood, magnifying it up to 1000 times. The entire procedure can be observed on a monitor.
Through the screen, you can witness the dynamic activity of your blood, including red blood cells, white blood cells, plasma, and various substances suspended in the plasma such as bacteria, yeast, crystals, plaque, and more. The speed at which morphological changes occur can provide insights into your current state of health.
This analysis method differs from conventional laboratory tests that measure the levels of specific components in a blood sample. Live blood screening offers an assessment of the QUALITY of an individual's blood—a crucial aspect of preventive healthcare that reveals the impact of diet, lifestyle, and stress on our well-being.
Reflexology
Reflexology is a natural healing art based on the principal that for every organ and gland of the body there are corresponding reflex points on the hands, feet and ears. Through the application of specific thumb and finger techniques, reflexology relieves tension, improves circulation and promotes the natural function of the body returning it to inner balance.
In our world of increasing stress, it is no surprise that stress accounts for 80% of modern diseases. How is this possible? Stress elicits a sympathetic response in the body (fight or flight). This causes the body to release increased levels of cortisol and adrenaline into the body, putting the body in a state of fight or flight. When you are in a constant state of sympathetic response, this may lead to accelerated heart rate, insomnia, increase in blood pressure, weakened immune system and poor digestion.
Reflexology engages the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the body’s normal resting response. In this relaxed state, (which is the body’s natural healing system) the body is able to repair and rebuild itself.
Ear Candling
Ear Candling is a gentle, holistic treatment designed to help promote relaxation and support ear health. During the session, a specialized hollow candle is carefully placed in the ear canal and lit on the opposite end. The warmth and suction effect created by the candle are believed to assist in softening and drawing out earwax and debris.
Patients can expect a comfortable and soothing experience. Each session typically lasts an hour or so, and our trained practitioner will guide you through the process, ensuring your safety and comfort at all times.
This service may be particularly beneficial for individuals seeking relief from mild ear discomfort, sinus pressure, or a sense of blockage in the ears. Please note that Ear Candling is not a medical treatment and should not replace consultation with a healthcare provider for any persistent or severe ear-related issues.
